URBOTICS
When we talk about urbotics, we refer to all urban public services and facilities that are automated in order to improve energy management, safety, well-being, comfort and communications for all users of these public services.
Urbotics is the integration of technology in the intelligent design of a city and plays an important role in the Smart cities (smart cities), because its function is to capture information from the environment through cameras and sensors, to process and analyze it and thus be able to make decisions and execute the corresponding actions, optimizing resources and increasing efficiency. The field of action of urbanization is quite wide since the composition of cities is so complex that it makes each component of the city a prospect of being automated, this in order to transform the city into a Smart City.
The function of urbotics goes beyond the automation of public services and facilities, it is important that these technologies and systems are integrated, that is, that they all work in the same sense, that they handle the same communication protocol so that they can exchange information and in this way that the information captured by a security systems camera can be used by the urban traffic management system. In this sense, urbotics is not only the implementation of technologies and systems, but also that they all work with the same objective of improving the quality of life of all citizens in general. Urbotics appear as an innovative solution to the problems of large cities that generate traffic congestion, environmental pollution, high expenses in basic services, etc.
